Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 3, 2026
Daysto is made by JCOM LLC, 1309 Coffeen Avenue STE 1200, Sheridan, Wyoming 82801, United States ("we", "us"), which is the data controller for any personal data described in this policy. The short version: the dates you save stay on your iPhone. There is no account, we don't know who you are, and we never ask for your location, contacts or calendar.
What the app stores, and where
- Your saved dates (name, date, colour, symbol, note, reminder choices) and your settings are stored only on your device, in the app's private storage. If you delete the app, this data is deleted with it. Nothing is stored in iCloud by the app.
- Widgets and the Live Activity read a small summary of your nearest dates from the app's shared storage on your device.
- Reminders are local notifications scheduled on your device. They never pass through a server.
- The calculators (days until, age, add or subtract, time between) run entirely on your device and store nothing.
What we collect
We do not collect names, email addresses, locations, contacts, calendars, or the dates you save.
- Anonymous usage statistics and crash reports. To understand which features are used and to fix crashes and freezes, the app sends anonymous events and crash and freeze reports to our own server (telemetry.jcom.llc), run by JCOM LLC. Events look like "date saved" or "onboarding completed"; performance diagnostics include moments when the app stopped responding. They carry a random install ID, the device model, the app and iOS version, the language and the App Store country, and no name, account, or content of your dates. When a crash report arrives, the server also records the IP address it came from and the country derived from it, to find problems that affect a region; this is kept only as long as needed to fix the crash. We do not use any third-party analytics, advertising or crash-reporting services.
- Email. If you write to us, we keep your message to answer it. We don't add you to any list.
What we don't do
- No advertising, no ad tracking, no selling or sharing data with anyone.
- No location tracking. The app never asks for your location.
- No account. Nothing to sign up for, nothing to log in to.
Your choices
- Delete everything the app holds by deleting the app.
- Turn reminders off per date in the app, or for the whole app in iOS Settings → Notifications → Daysto.
- Crash and freeze reports reach us only if "Share With App Developers" is on in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements; you can turn it off there at any time. The anonymous usage events described above contain no personal data.
Your rights
Because your dates never leave your device, we hold almost nothing about you. Where a law such as the GDPR (EU/UK) or the CCPA (California) gives you rights to access, correct, delete or port personal data, or to object to its processing, you can exercise them by emailing us. We do not sell or share personal data as defined by the CCPA. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
Data retention and security
Anonymous usage and crash data is kept only as long as needed to understand and fix problems. Email you send us is kept as long as needed to answer it. Data on your device is protected by iOS device encryption and is never transmitted to us.
Children
Daysto is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If we change this policy we'll update the date at the top and, for meaningful changes, mention it in the app's release notes.
