Voice memos to text, right on your iPhone
Record a lecture, a meeting or the doctor's advice. Voicejar keeps the audio, writes down every word on your iPhone, and pulls out the key points and to-dos.
Coming soon to the App Store for iPhone.
Free to download. No ads, no account, no weekly plan. Voicejar Pro is optional.
How it works
-
Record
One big button, or the lock screen and Siri. The audio is saved as you speak, so a call or a crash never loses it.
-
The words appear
Voicejar writes down what was said on your iPhone, even offline, and follows the language you speak.
-
Key points and to-dos
A short summary, the key points and a checklist of what to do next (Voicejar Pro).
-
Find any word
Search every recording, tap a sentence to hear it again, and share as text, PDF, subtitles or audio.

Questions
Does Voicejar upload my recordings?
No. Recording, transcripts and summaries happen on your iPhone, and there is no account. Voicejar Pro has two optional cloud features, Cloud accuracy and Cloud summary. They are off until you turn them on, each says exactly what is sent, and the services behind them keep nothing.
Which languages does it understand?
Dozens of languages, using the speech model on your iPhone. When you speak another of your languages, Voicejar notices and switches, and you can pick the language with one tap while you record. With Voicejar Pro, Cloud accuracy handles even more languages and noisy rooms.
Does it work offline?
Yes. Recording, playback and transcripts work without a connection once your iPhone has the speech model for your language, which it downloads once.
What is free, and what is Voicejar Pro?
Recording, playback, sharing your audio and transcripts of the first 10 minutes of each recording are free. Voicejar Pro adds transcripts of any length, summaries with to-dos, PDF and subtitle export, and the optional cloud features. It is monthly, yearly with a 7-day free trial, or a one-time purchase, all through Apple.
Can I record other people?
Ask first. In many places the law requires everyone's consent before you record a conversation, and you are responsible for what you record.
Everything they said, kept.
Lectures, meetings, interviews and doctor visits: every word, the gist and your to-dos, on your iPhone.
