Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 28, 2026
Multipop is a times tables app for children, made by JCOM LLC, 1309 Coffeen Avenue STE 1200, Sheridan, Wyoming 82801, United States ("we", "us"), which is the data controller for any personal data described in this policy. The short version: there are no ads, no account and no names, and your child's progress stays on the device.
What the app stores, and where
- Progress (stars per table, best scores, which facts were answered right or wrong) and settings (sounds, bubble hints, appearance) are stored only on the device, in the app's private storage. Deleting the app deletes them.
- The app never asks for a name, age, email address, photo, location, contacts or any other personal information, and has no chat or sharing features.
What we collect
- Anonymous usage statistics and crash reports. To see which parts of the app are used and to fix crashes, the app sends anonymous events (such as "round completed" with the score) and crash reports to our own server (telemetry.jcom.llc), run by JCOM LLC. They carry a random install ID that is not linked to any person, name or account, and they are not used for advertising or to build a profile. Each report also carries basic technical details: the app version, the iOS version, the device language setting and the App Store country (not the device location). When a crash report arrives, the server also records the IP address it came from and the country derived from it, to find problems that affect a region; this is kept only as long as needed to fix the crash. We do not use any third-party analytics, advertising or crash-reporting services.
- Email. If a parent writes to us, we keep the message to answer it. We don't add anyone to a list.
What we don't do
- No advertising, no ad tracking, no selling or sharing of data.
- No in-app purchases.
- No account, no sign-up, no social features.
- No location, camera, microphone or contacts access.
Children
Multipop is designed for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children: the app asks for none, and the only data it sends is the anonymous usage and crash information described above, used solely to run and improve the app. If you believe we hold information about your child, write to us and we will delete it.
Your choices and rights
- Delete all progress by deleting the app, or with Settings → Reset progress.
- You can turn off crash reports and analytics for all apps in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements.
- Where a law such as COPPA (US), the GDPR (EU/UK) or the CCPA (California) gives you rights to access, correct or delete data, email us. We do not sell or share personal data. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
Data retention and security
Anonymous usage and crash data is kept only as long as needed to understand and fix problems. Email is kept as long as needed to answer it. Data on the device is protected by iOS device encryption and is never transmitted to us.
Changes
If we change this policy we'll update the date at the top and, for meaningful changes, mention it in the app's release notes.
