Terms of Use
Last updated: October 3, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and JCOM LLC, a limited liability company registered in Wyoming, United States, with its address at 1309 Coffeen Avenue STE 1200, Sheridan, Wyoming 82801, United States ("we", "us"), for the Wayfar app. By installing or using the app you accept them. Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies; where the two differ, these terms apply.
1. The app
Wayfar shows your daily steps against a goal, suggests what would finish the day, times interval walks and walking-pad sessions, and lets you note how your energy is. It is a personal motivation and record-keeping tool. It is not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and it does not replace advice from a doctor or other health professional. If you have a condition that affects how much you should walk, follow your professional's guidance, not the app's numbers.
2. Your data and your responsibility
- Your steps come from Apple Health and stay on your device (see the Privacy Policy). The app relies on what your iPhone and any connected devices record; steps can be under- or over-counted, and walking-pad steps are estimates calculated from the speed you enter.
- Goals, streaks, estimates and "what would close today" are suggestions, not instructions. You decide what is right for your body on any given day.
3. The app and Wayfar Pro
- The core of the app (the adaptive goal, gentle days, the energy check-in, the Japanese walk and the small widget) is available without payment, with a monthly limit on walking-pad sessions. Wayfar Pro removes that limit and unlocks every widget size and additional features as they are released.
- Pro is available as an auto-renewing monthly or yearly subscription, or as a one-time lifetime purchase. Prices are shown in the app in your local currency and may change; changes never affect a period you have already paid for.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account. Manage or cancel any time in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Free trials, where offered, convert to a paid subscription unless cancelled before the trial ends.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's policies; we cannot issue refunds directly.
4. Acceptable use
Don't reverse-engineer, resell or misuse the app, and don't use it to break any law. That's it.
5. Availability and changes
We work hard to keep the app reliable, but we can't promise it will be free of errors or available at all times. We may add, change or remove features, and may stop offering the app; if a paid feature is removed we will make reasonable efforts to inform you.
6. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. To the fullest extent permitted by law, JCOM LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for injury or health outcomes arising from activity you choose to do, or lost data arising from use of the app. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights that consumer law gives you and that cannot be limited.
7. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from these terms or the app will be handled by the state or federal courts located in Sheridan County, Wyoming, and you consent to their jurisdiction. This does not affect mandatory consumer protections you have under the law of your country of residence. If you are a consumer in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you may also bring a claim in the courts of the country where you live.
8. Third-party beneficiary
Apple Inc. and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app; if the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty you may notify Apple and Apple may refund the purchase price, but Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims relating to the app, including product liability, legal or regulatory compliance, and consumer protection or intellectual property claims.
